A little history on Eudovic Art Studio

Eudovic Art Studio is a family business started by Joseph Eudovic and his wife Joyceline Eudovic, just about 50 years ago. They had a dream of opening an art studio where visitors could mingle with them, where they can show people how to create beautiful works of art and craft, and of course if they appreciated it enough, they would purchase a piece.
So young Joseph joined up with the Catholic church and the government of St. Lucia and taught hundreds of young men the art of wood carving while his wife taught young ladies how to create craft work. There was the men’s workshop, the ladies’ workshop, the gallery and the boutique all made out of straw and wood then.
Visitors were hard to come by as there were very few hotels on the island, even rarer still the cruise industry. Agriculture was king, on top, successful and primier on the island. They were really the starving artist with employees to pay and a young family of five to care for. But they stuck to their dreams with tears, hope and prayers. They supported themselves and the art by hosting cultural events, selling food on weekends and holding the occasional street parties
Today Eudovic Art Studio is recognized worldwide. Eudovics’ works are appreciated and bought by visitors to the island, governmental bodies and art collectors. His works can be found in the offices of heads of states, museums and prestigious buildings as well as homes around the globe. We have come a long way and we hope to continue teaching and creating art with you coming along for the experience.
